Ilminster Police have warned youngsters to keep away from unused buildings after a vacant factory was flooded by vandals.
Copper pipes at the former Frederick Theak factory at Shudrick Lane were broken. The factory has been boarded up after several attacks in recent weeks, with windows smashed and fire extinguishers let off.
Ilminster beat manager PC Mark Hicks warned would-be vandals that the building was extremely dangerous because of broken glass, and people trying to enter disused sites were putting themselves at risk.
He appealed for anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111 with car registrations and descriptions of people entering unused buildings.
