Yeovil Town's larger-than-life mascot, the Jolly Green Giant, took part in the Taunton to Bridgwater Canalathon on Sunday in aid of the Somerset-based charity Brainwave which provides therapy programmes for brain injured people.
The route was 12 miles long and the Jolly Green Giant took just under two hours to complete the course.
And the Giant said: "I would like to thank the Cycle Centre of Yeovil and SMV Commercials for their assistance along with the support I received on the day. I am hoping to raise £600 through the event for this worthwhile cause."
