BARNARDOS Millennium Volunteer Barry Evans met a man with a cunning plan yesterday (Thursday, June 20).
As a reward for his 200 hours' voluntary service with the Somerset Inclusion Project Barry (left) met actor and TV presenter Tony Robinson.
Mr Robinson is best-known for his portrayal of Baldrick, the smelly, turnip-loving sidekick to Rowan Atkinson's Blackadder.
He has cleaned up his act since then but he was getting his hands dirty during the filming of a new episode of Channel 4's Time Team.
The archaeologists have been back at Athelney on the Somerset Levels for the first time in ten years, helping with the dig at the site of a former abbey.
The site of the dig is open to the public from 11am to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday) with car parking available off Cutts Road, East Lyng.
