A STAND of 110 by skipper Shaun French (59) and Steve Redwood (57) rescued Barrington in their Somerset County League Division One game against Castle Cary on Saturday (June 22).
After collapsing to 39-4, French and Redwood took control of the game with some fine stroke play to help Barrington to 172 all out.
Castle Cary held out for the draw, hitting 130-5. Alan Wellman took 2-33 with Kevin Smith and Surendar Dos taking a wicket apiece.
