TAUNTON'S Musgrove Park Hospital has been criticised for taking over 18 months to answer a Coroner's queries into the death of an Ilminster woman.
Following the hospital's slow co-operation, West Somerset Coroner Michael Rose ordered all staff involved in the case to the inquest last week.
He said Musgrove's slow response hindered nurses and doctors trying to recall precisely events preceding Joy Packham's death on January 10 last year.
Mr Rose recorded a verdict of death by natural causes, with the cause severe staphylococcal septicaemia, with secondary causes Sjorgen's Syndrome and Raynaud Syndrome.
