CHRIS Loader, regarded by many as the finest goalkeeper to play for Chard Town, has died aged 59.
Loader, who was a member of the club's championship winning sides of the 60s, died in Rothwell, his Northants home. The funeral takes place at Yeovil Crematorium today (Wednesday, June 26) with donations to Cancer Research UK.
Chris made 309 appearances for Chard between 1962-1971, and came back in the 72-73 season for three more games.
