SINGLE mother Amanda Starke fears for the safety of children playing on a Chard housing estate after finding a sharps box full of used syringes.
Miss Starke, 30, made the discovery near her home at Halcombe last Wednesday evening (June 19). The bright yellow container had been thrown into grass beside an abandoned vehicle.
Miss Starke, who along with other neighbours is concerned about drug-related activity at Halcombe, took the syringes to Chard police station.
