IT has been announced that Yeovil Town's 'home' Nationwide Conference fixture with Woking on Tuesday, September 24, will be screened live on Sky Sports Television (writes Steve Sowden).

There is still no definite news on whether the Glovers' Huish Park pitch -- which is currently being relaid -- will be ready for the start of the new 2002-03 season and an arrangement has been made for them to use Dorchester Town's Avenue Stadium , if needed, for the first few 'home' fixtures.

But there is a widespread belief among supporters that Yeovil will do everything they can to make sure they are back at Huish Park in time for the Sky date on September 24.

Live television appearances have been kind to Yeovil in the past with some memorable victories.

They have lost only once in a live televised match and that was at Burton Albion last season in the FA Umbro Trophy Semi-Final Second Leg.

But Yeovil still won that great day 5-2 on aggregate.
