STILT-walking entertainers will be leading a campaign to help Minehead people make three wishes for their town.
Minehead has been chosen as one of the pilots for the Government's 'coastal town initiative', which could draw in thousands of pounds of funding for a range of schemes, large and small.
But leaders of the regeneration project say they need to know what local people want to happen.
And they have drafted in Plymouth-based performers Stiltskin to take the consultation process on to the streets.
Neil Spencer, from Sustainable Futures, who is managing the current phase of the initiative, said: "Up to now we've been concentrating on bringing people together in workshops.
"But now we are going out on to the streets and into the neighbourhoods to ask people to tell us their wish for the future of the town."
The street campaign next Saturday (July 6) will be at locations around the town, including the Seaward Way and Periton Lane areas.
"The spectacular Stiltskin will be there literally standing head and shoulders above everyone helping to make this a lively event.
"We hope that everyone will want to join in the fun and make their very own wish for the future of Minehead."
