POLICE horse Taunton Deane, aged 19, retired on Tuesday after 15 years' service with the Avon and Somerset mounted section.
TD, as he is known, has been given to the International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH) and will spend his retirement in Weymouth. He was officially named by ILPH president, Princess Anne, and won many championships at local and national level.
