Yeovil Town players warmed-up to the return of pre-season training by having a 'friendly' cricket match with North Perrott CC at the club's picturesque Willis Lane ground.
And it proved, once and for all, that the Glovers are far better at football than they are at cricket! And thank goodness for that!
North Perrott, who play in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League, opened the batting and made 153-4 in their innings.
Perrott then skittled Yeovil, who were fielding some first-team regulars, out for 125 to record a 28-run victory. But Glovers' boss Gary Johnson was apparently not entirely happy about some fierce bowling he faced when at the crease!
