THE King and Queen of Norway were guests of honour at a glittering dinner at Dunster Castle.
King Harald V, with Queen Sonja, were hosted by senior officers of the Green Howards.
King Harald was at Dunster to relinquish his role as Commander in Chief of the regiment, which is to become part of the 2nd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment (Green Howards) in June.
The Green Howards were raised by Colonel Francis Luttrell at Dunster Castle in 1688, and Colonel Francis' decedents, Sir Walter Luttrell and Lady Luttrell were also guests.
Other guests included Lady Gass, the Lord Lieutenant of Somerset.
