A NEW class for people who have received hospital treatment for a heart condition has been launched in Chard.

Shine will be open for people who travel to Taunton for outpatient exercise or who have finished the treatment but cannot find a local class to suit their needs.

Class teacher Nicky Harwood said: “The class is aimed at those who have had heart treatment and want to improve their levels of fitness. The class will also benefit others who might have breathing difficulties or are managing other long-term conditions.”

The active hearts class runs from 11.30am to 12.30pm at The Boden Centre in Boden Street. For more information call 07521-318930 or 01460-239253.
