THIS shocking image of a Winsham man badly beaten up after a Christmas party has been released by police following an appeal for witnesses.
Officers are seeking information about the assault, which happened in the grounds of Taunton School in the early hours of December 20.
Craig Rodway (pictured), 38, sustained serious facial injuries after he was allegedly punched and knocked to the ground in the car park of the Library Building at about 1.10am.
One of the culprits is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, in his mid-20s, with a shaven head, of stocky build and clean shaven.
He was believed to be wearing jeans with a studded belt and a grey shirt.
Another man may have been involved who is described as white, 6ft tall, of slimmer build, also in his mid-20s, though potentially younger, with 2-3in hair styled in a quiff at the front. He was wearing jeans and a chequered shirt.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Anyone with information is urged to call Taunton CID on 0800-4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
