ALADDIN will be making a welcome appearance at The Princess in Burnham from today (Friday) to Saturday, February 6.
Burnham District Pantomime Society's talented cast will be putting on the popular pantomime after working on the production for four months.
Directed by Lorna Blair and Bryony Holliman, the society's production features a cast of new and well-known faces to bring this traditional story to life.
They are hoping for plenty of boos and hisses as young Aladdin meets the genie of the lamp, gets persued by the evil sorcerer and tries to win the love of the betrothed princess.
Naturally, there will be plenty of colourful characters in the principle roles, including panto favourite Wishy Washy, alongside a talented chorus and lots of children's roles.
Musical director Colin Frechter hopes to have his audiences humming new, old and home written songs on the trip home.
Panto fans young and old will be able to enjoy the battle between good and evil with a mix of pantomime humour, colourful sets and bright costumes after months of hard work from the society both on and off the stage.
Tickets cost between £6 and £8 from The Barber Shop in Burnham on 01278-782723.
