HUNDREDS of people across the area will be doing something different for Children in Need today.
Pudsey Bear’s big day has finally come and people all over the area are getting ready to join the effort.

Here’s a list of some of the fundraising events going on throughout the day.
* Staff at L and B Marketing will be dressed as Robin Hood and Maid Marrion, manning the fuel pumps at Trull garage.
Get your car topped up, windscreen washed and make a donation.
* A host of events will be held at Comet in Taunton from 9am to 8pm.
Staff will be holding a cake sale and competitions as well as a car wash, which ends at 5pm.
* Hillside Children’s Centre in Taunton will be holding a Pudsey’s PJ Picnic from 1.30 to 3pm.
* Strictly Come Dancing fans can get the look of dancing star Anton De Beck at Taunton’s Asda store.
The dancing star has donated a dance costume for the store to raffle for Children in Need Staff will also be holding a 24-hour camp out in a tipi in the store’s car park.
* Webbers estate agents in Taunton has teamed up with the Chapel Inn at Cotford St Luke to raise cash for this year’s event.
They are asking people to call into Webbers in High Street and donate £2 to be entered into a raffle to win a free three course meal for two with a bottle of wine.
* Staff in the catheter lab at Musgrove Park Hospital, in Taunton, are going to work with wild hair dos.
* Hermes Health and Fitness Studio, in Bridge Street, Taunton, is staging five days of stamina sapping challenges in a bid to raise at least £1,000.
The fun includes cycling, rowing, climbing and running on the gym equipment, fancy dress spinning and circuit training and sports massages.
It is open to members and non-members – so long as you pledge at least £1 to Children in Need.
Hermes members will also enjoy a curry night at the Coal Orchard with a raffle.
* Children from Blackbrook Primary School will be dressing up in costumes from other countries.
They will also be taking part in a host of games and fun throughout the day.
* Students from Somerset College in Taunton will be dressing up in a host of fun outfits and glitter for Children in Need.
