MINISTER of Chard Baptists Church the Rev Warwick Lydiate will be returning to his former occupation of concert violinist for a special performance next month.
Before entering Christian ministry, he was a professional violinist with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and will once again take a bow to raise funds for his upcoming visit to Vietnam with fellow church member Don Foster.
They will be helping Christian charity Siloam Ministries and observing how the Church functions in a very different culture and environment to England.
Joining the Minister for the performance will be Alison Thomas on flute, Eileen Hornsby on keyboard and David Kennard on cello.
The concert will take place on Saturday, December 5. There will be no charge for entry but a freewill collection will be taken at the end.
