AMATEUR thespians have received their calling from the Barrington Players who are offering two theatrical workshop days this month.
Following a well-earned rest after their successful pantomime Dick Whittington last February, the Players are organising the workshops for anyone interested in any aspect of theatre.
The workshops will be lead by experienced tutors covering excerpts from a well-known musical, a short drama and either an improvised ‘whodunnit’ scenario or even some Shakespeare.
Sessions on backstage skills such as lighting, sound, make-up and wardrobe run concurrently and involve hands-on experience.
Workshops will take place at Barrington Village Hall from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, November 29, and Sunday, December 6, culminating in a short performance from 4pm to 5pm on the second Sunday.
The combined cost for both days is £5, for details contact 01460-259605 or 01460-52607.
