ONE of the stars of the classic TV comedy Dad's Army will be in Yeovil later TODAY.
Bill Pertwee, who played ARP Warden Hodges, will be at the Swan Theatre in Park Street, Yeovil, on Wednesday, November 18, from 3pm.
He will be reminiscing and talking about his new book "Dad's Army: The Making of a TV Legend" and tickets for this fascinating insight into one of the best-loved comedy shows are priced £3.
Tickets are available from Waterstone's Bookshop in Middle Street, Yeovil, or by phoning 01935-479832.
A Waterstone's spokesman said: "We are proud to be welcoming Bill to Yeovil.
"Bill will also be signing copies of his book after the talk - the perfect Christmas present."
Dad's Army - a humorous look at life in the Home Guard during the Second World War - coined some of the nation's favourite TV one-liners such as "Stupid Boy", "Don't Panic" and "We're Doomed."
