BUDDING Hugo Bosses and kiddie Calvin Kleins were out in force at the Octopus Children's Centre in Burnham last week.

The playschool held a special t-shirt designing and decorating week to mark Sure Start Children's Week which celebrated the growth of the national network of children's centres.

Karen Kennelly from the Octopus Children's Centre in Winchester Road said they chose t-shirts as the theme for the week as they had been sent a load by Sure Start.

She told the Weekly News: “It seemed the appropriate choice and all the children and parents really enjoyed putting their creative sides to good use.

“Some of the designs were really good and the whole week was great.

“We have more activities planned for the October half term.”
