MORE than 150 residents attended an exhibition in Wellington showing plans to create up to 300 new homes for sale or rent on a site off the Milverton Road.

Don Alder, a planning consultant for the development, said: “The exhibition gave us the opportunity to answer a host of questions and concerns which ranged from transportation to education.

“We also confirmed that South Western Property Ltd, who own this site, do not currently, or have ever owned the Blackdown Garden Centre.”
