A MAN is recovering after being subjected to a homophobic attack in Taunton, police said.
The victim was alone on the riverbank at Hankridge Way at 9.30pm on September 8 when he was assaulted.
He was grabbed by his arms from behind and pulled to the ground. Three men punched and kicked him and shouted homophobic remarks, Avon and Somerset Police said.
One is described as white, in his late 20s and with short brown hair. He was wearing white shoes and a blue jumper.
The second is black, in his 20s and about 6ft 4in. He was wearing a red long-sleeved top, baggy trousers and white trainers.
The third is white, about 5ft 9in and also in his 20s. He was wearing black jeans, a white t-shirt and a white cap.
