A TRIBUTE to the king of rock 'n' roll makes an eagerly anticipated performance at Yeovil’s Octagon Theatre tonight (Thursday).

Elvis impersonator Lee ‘Memphis’ King and his live band will be playing two hours of classic hits during their popular Elvis On Tour show.

After only five years in the business, King has been hailed as one of the top Elvis tribute acts in the UK and has performed to sell-out audiences across the country.

In 2007 he was invited to appear the on the BBC One show World’s Greatest Elvis, which marked the 30th anniversary of Presley’s death, and impressed a panel of experts with his believable performance.

The Welsh singer has also been a contestant on a special edition of the Ann Robinson-fronted game show The Weakest Link.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £18.50 full price, £17.50 for footlights.
