A GO-AHEAD ruralbased company from North Perrott is beating the recession by taking advantage of the current economic climate to open a network of offices around the world.

Translation and multilingual communication specialists, Kwintessential, has expanded its operations to Cape Town in South Africa, Buenos Aires in Argentina and Monterey in the USA with the appointment of English speaking managers for each country.

Offices in Turkey, India and Germany will follow later this year.

Earlier this year, Kwintessential was awarded accreditation in quality management for its high standards of systems management.

Now, with expansion overseas, Kwintessential aims to offer exporting customers increased benefits in the delivery of translation, interpretation, desktop publishing, multi-lingual web design and cultural awareness services.

Kwintessential’s managing director, Neil Payne, said an increasing demand in overseas enquiries had been the “trigger” for the business development.

He said: “We see the downturn in the economy as a good time to expand overseas to meet demand.

“Our network of offices in key markets, coupled with a dynamic online presence, gives us a much better global reach.

“Our overseas managers are all English speaking, native tongue, degree, qualified linguists with sound business experience.

“We are looking to a 100% increase in turnover in the next three years with an increasing number of enquiries generated from abroad.”

Kwintessential also relocated earlier this year from South Petherton to North Perrott and grown its head office team to four full-time staff.
