THE St Augustine of Canterbury School, in Taunton, is hosting its free annual community science day on Saturday, from 10am until 3pm.
The theme of the event is travel, with all attractions and rides free for everyone, including a hot air balloon, fairground rides, a simulator, planetarium, climbing wall, fun science show, exotic animals and bouncy castles.
There will also be local charities and businesses in attendance promoting themselves As a specialist science college, St Augustine’s prides itself on the science experiences that its students encounter during their education.
It also uses its specialist status to work closely with primary schools that are able to visit and experience ‘hands on’ science in a dedicated primary lab.
The community science day enables our community to also experience exciting science.
If you are a local business or charity wishing to attend or if you require any further information, contact head teacher Simon Rowe on 01823-337128.
