Taunton Motor Show put visitors in the driving seat

THE Taunton Motor Show attracted hundreds of car-buyers and enthusiasts today.
The FREE show, hosted by County Gazette and Taunton School, took place at the school this year and was highly successful, despite some rain later in the afternoon.

The motor show was sponsored by Silver Street Automotive, dealers in Audi, Volkswagen, Seat and Volkswagen Commercial.
County Gazette Editor-in-Chief Ken Bird said: "The top local dealers were there and there was a stunning array of classic and kit cars that drew a lot of interest."
Children enjoyed entertainment including a bouncy castle while food and refreshments were also available.
Motor dealers brought their latest models to put visitors in the driving seat when it came to the best deals and highest quality in town.

We are sorry to read that you were disappointed with this year's Taunton Motor Show. All of the new car dealerships in the area were invited to have a stand at the event and we feel the show offered a broad representation of manufacturers.
Free entry and on-site parking enabled people to enjoy an inexpensive day out with new models for 2009 plus over 80 classic cars, the Police and Fire Service proving popular with visitors.
On the day there was a great deal of positive feedback resulting in this year's show being the most successful to date with over 3,000 visitors.
We hope to see you at what we will endeavour to be an even bigger and better Taunton Motor Show for 2010.
