STAFF from a Martock company were delighted to receive a royal visit from HRH The Duchess of Gloucester while exhibiting at the recent Mobility Roadshow.
During the visit to Unwin Safety Systems’ exhibition stand, the Duchess was presented a mobility roadshow teddy bear by Dillon Chapman along with his parents Dawn and Mark.
Her Royal Highness was also shown the latest products on display from Unwin including the innovative Dock n Lock system for single wheelchair positions in vehicle and one of the most talked about products at the entire show.
Dillon is the nephew of Gerry O’Connor, Unwin Safety Systems’ director of sales and marketing.
“The event is one of Europe’s leading disability events and has always proved to very successful for us,” he said.
“The royal visit was certainly a highlight and I think it is fair to say that the Duchess took a shine to Dillon!” She even named the bear Dillon!”
