A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on the M5 between Avonmouth and Portishead.
Police were called this afternoon (May 1) at 3.50pm to a report of the collision on the southbound carriageway between junctions 18 and 19 where one of the vehicles involved “ended up overturned”.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.50pm to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the southbound carriageway of the M5 between junctions 18 (Avonmouth) and 19 (Portishead).
“One of the vehicles involved had ended up overturned on the northbound carriageway.
“Emergency services attended and a woman was taken to hospital.”
