Flat & The Curves is bring a Girls Night Out to Taunton this summer.

As part of their tour, the comedy girl band will headline the Brewhouse Theatre on July 16.

The troupe, made up of Charlotte Brooke, Katy Baker, Arabella Rodrigo and Issy Wroe Wright, created Flat & The Curves during the 2020 lockdown.

They've since been described by the UK comedy guide Chortle as "one phenomenally entertaining anthem to womanhood after another".

Furthermore, they were described as serving up "a near-perfect blend of relatable comedy, barnstorming musicality, and bold feminist attitude".

The members, who individually graced the West End and global stages, bring a fascinating blend of vocals and humour.

Their self-penned songs often focus on feminist themes, making their shows an empowering experience for female audiences.

Adding further insight, the members of the band said: "Everything we write about has been inspired by our personal experience, our hope and intention is that the audiences find it as enjoyable and emotionally stimulating watching (in a laughter is medicine kind of way) as we do performing it."

Their show is a high-energy combo of big voices and bold statements often described as "Sex and the City meets Bridesmaids".

Their performances have won rave reviews, with the Sunday Express calling them "the most dynamic girl group to hit the circuit".

Somerset County Gazette:

Ms Brooke, winner of the 2018 Musical Comedy Awards' Best Newcomer, is the band's northern diva and musical maestro.

Then there's Ms Baker, known as the Cabaret Queen, is the comedy troupe's brain.

West End and international vocalist Ms Rodrigo brings powerful vocals that will "make your jaw hit the floor",

While Ms Wroe Wright came out of the womb singing and hasn’t stopped since.
