The annual Somerset CCC Church Service returns to Taunton this year.

It is set to take place on May 19 at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

The service will commence before the kick-off of day three of the Vitality County Championship match against Kent.

Interested attendees can start pouring in from 9.30am through the Jack White Gates.

While the service is expected to start at 9.45am.

Taking the stage will be Reverend Tobie Osmond, vicar of Taunton Minster, to conduct the service.

Reverend David Macgeaoch will serve attendees with his speech, and Reverend Fabian Wyatts will take to lead prayers.

The viewing point for attendees will be Gimblett’s Hill, aptly located in front of St James’ Church.

The Somerset CCC Annual Church Service traditionally graces the club's calendar and continues to strengthen the historical bond between Somerset and the church.

Somerset members and supporters are invited to participate in large numbers and contribute to the special occasion.
