CHRISTMAS cheer is lighting up Wookey Hole in spectacular fashion as the popular Somerset attraction is turning into a Winter Wonderland.

Between November 25 and January 1, visitors to the caves will step into a Christmas delight lit by over a hundred thousand lights.

Children will also have the chance to meet Santa in his grotto and receive gifts from the elves' Toy Factory.

But the festive cheer doesn't stop there.

A spectacular Christmas-themed circus awaits to bewitch audiences within the Wookey Hole Theatre.

Well, that is if the Grinch - who is on the loose - doesn't ruin Christmas first!

The 4D cinema will screen a magical Christmas film, while other parts of the Wookey Hole attraction remain open for guests.

Ellen Ramsay, spokesperson for the Cottle Family Trust which owns and manages Wookey Hole, said: "We are thrilled to bring the magic of the holiday season to Wookey Hole once again.

"Our Winter Wonderland promises to be an enchanting experience for visitors of all ages and we can't wait to create precious Christmas memories that will last a lifetime."

For children, adults, and seniors, prices start from £17.95, £22.45 and £21.45, respectively.

Online booking is available, but guests are encouraged to book as soon as possible - some dates are already sold out.
