TAUNTON based dance school Trull School of Dancing have just completed a two-day Matilda the Musical summer school.

During their sessions at North Street Church Halls in the county town, they learnt an entire musical in less than 24hours.

They memorised all the songs, dance routines, acting scenes, character parts and opening number and finale.

Gemma Bown-Porter, principal of Trull School of Dancing, said: "This brilliant cast of young performers worked spectacularly hard and showcased a mini musical performance at the end of the two days to all of their families."
