Exciting events at Hestercombe

HESTERCOMBE House is hosting a Wedding Open Day from 10am-4pm on Sunday, February 10.

The event showcases Hestercombe as an exquisite venue for the perfect dream wedding.

Exhibitors will display products and services and the Hestercombe Hospitality Team will be on hand to assist and begin to plan your dream wedding.

A Ladies Lunch is being held at the same venue on Tuesday, February 12, with author Roger Stoakley.

You will be able to hear the amazing and heart warming story of Lturungen,- of the Samburu tribe in Kenya, who came to England for medical treatment and later, dressed in warrior clothes, toured schools in Somerset talking about tribal life.

Arrive from 11am for coffee followed by the talk and lunch.

Jenny Short is hosting a Garden Design Workshop on Friday, February 15, from 10am-4pm.

The event offers a full day of expert advice and discussion looking at tree planting to create shade - including pruning, shade-tolerant shrubs, spring bulbs and ground cover.

A walk around the landscape garden will demonstrate the principles involved in creating a woodland garden.
