DAMAGED: The pedestrian crossing light knocked down in Castle Street, Taunton
A PEDESTRIAN crossing light has been knocked down in Castle Street, Taunton following a single car crash this morning (Thursday, June 27).

A black soft top car crashed into the pole around 6am this morning, toppling the light by the pedestrian crossing.
The car has now been towed away and the road is clear however the fallen pole is still causing an obstruction on the pavement as of 7am.
