Leandro Trossard will be confirmed as an Albion player tomorrow - for less than a club record fee.
The Argus understands the deal bringing the Genk skipper and winger to the Amex is considerably lower than the £18 million widely touted.
Even with add-ons, it will not reach that figure, so Iran winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh remains Albion's record signing following his £17 million move from AZ Alkmaar last summer.
Trossard flew to England today with wife Laura Hilven and advisor Josy Comhair for a medical and to complete the formalities of his move at the Lancing training complex.
It will be officially announced once a few loose ends are tied up at Genk.
It completes a whirwind few days for Trossard, who married Hilven on Saturday. They have a two-year-old son, Thiago.
Trossard will link up with Albion in time for their training camp in Austria early next month and opening friendly.
