Leon Balogun is hoping for his first taste of action in the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt today.

The Albion defender was an unused sub in Nigeria's opening 1-0 win against Burundi on Saturday.

Gernot Rohr's side face Guinea today (3.30pm) with Samuel Kalu back in contention following a heart scare.

The striker was rushed to hospital after collapsing during training last Friday amid fears of a heart problem but he was subsequently diagnosed with dehydration.

Rohr has revealed Odion Ighalo will start after scoring the winner against Burundi from the bench.

Guinea, held to an opening draw by Madagascar, include Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita.

He admitted: "We need to throw everything into the match against Nigeria in order for us to win and remain in the competition."
