A WOMAN has admitted stealing more than £600 from a dentists' practice in Taunton.
Michelle Sowden pleaded guilty at Taunton Magistrates' Court to taking the money from Canon Street Dental Centre between June and August last year.
Sowden, 40, of Bristol Road, Bridgwater, was handed a community order for the theft of £642.45.
She was also ordered to carry out 60 hours unpaid work and must pay £642.45 compensation, along with a victim surcharge of £85 and £85 costs.
Sowden, whose guilty plea was taken into account by the court when sentencing her, was told to pay the total of £812.45 at the rate of £100 a month.
