TAUNTON’S newest estate agents is all about seamless, personal service.

Taunton Property Centre, which operates from its Canon Street hub, started in February this year.

Jonathan Hunt, managing director, says the detail that makes them stand out against others in the town is the ‘single point of contact’ model.

This means you will be dealing with the same person throughout the journey of selling or buying a house. After all, they will be the ones that know most about your property after going through the valuation, viewings, and sorting out the finer details.

Mr Hunt said: “We offer our clients an estate agent as their ‘single point of contact’ that will support them from the initial valuation, all the way through to the completion.

“This means that the same estate agent that valued your home will also be the very same estate agent doing all of the viewings, handling offers and working with the solicitors.

“This gives our clients an absolute seamless focus on great customer service and making sure that every opportunity to sell their home is being dealt with by the right person.”

Mr Hunt said sellers working with other estate agents can sometimes result in having a manager or ‘lister’ figure out the value of the house, but then they end up working with ‘negotiators’ for the rest of the journey.

Using the TPC model, customers see the same face all the way through.

Mr Hunt added: “At Taunton Property Centre we stop this from happening; which is good for our sellers but also good for our buyers, who can have all of their questions about the property answered on the viewing, increasing their ability to make an offer on the viewing itself.

“While we still have excellent photography and marketing, expose our clients property to the widest audiences on Rightmove, Zoopla and Prime Location, we also have some new innovative ways a of marketing which include Facebook adverts directly to target different buyer demographics, first time buyers for example.”

Mr Hunt says there are many reasons he chose Taunton to build his business.

He said: “I chose Taunton to set up Taunton Property Centre because it’s the town that I love, it’s my home town, all of our friends and family live here.

“There’s just something special about it, lots of people that I deal with are often looking to move back to Taunton having left and I think that speaks volumes about the town.”

As ever - it’s location, location, location, and Taunton fits the bill perfectly.

Mr Hunt added: “From a property point of view, I think we’re ideally situated between two big cities like Exeter and Bristol as it gives our towns residents plenty of opportunity for work or a day’s shopping for some of the bigger stores.

“We’ve got the Quantocks and lots of natural heritage sites on our door step and there’s still so much excitement to come with some of the things that are being discussed in the pipeline, I’ve heard we may even be getting a stadium venue for more music and entertainment.

“We have excellent sporting establishments such as the county cricket team, excellent schools, incredible parks such as Vivary, big employers such as Musgrove and the Hydrographic office. I could talk all day about what I love about Taunton, but simply put, Taunton for us is home.”
