ONE of Taunton's park and ride sites has been 'temporarily suspended'.
Travellers arrived at the Gateway site yesterday evening (June 6), and Somerset County Council has been working to remove them.
But while this takes palce, the council has decided to close the site.
There is currently no access to the site while police are on the scene.
A spokesman said: "The Park & Ride Service to the Gateway site at J25 has been temporarily suspended while action is taken to move a group travellers.
"The service will resume as soon as possible.
"We apologise for any inconvenience.
"Silk Mills service remains open as usual."

It is not known when the site will be back in action, but it is hoped it will be reopened before tomorrow morning.
Normally services would not run on a Saturday, but with World Cup cricket scheduled to take place in town, buses were set to run from the two Park and Ride sites, into the town centre as many roads will be closed.

Silk Mills Park and Ride will not be affected by the suspension.
