FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a blaze in a shower room in a house in West Somerset.
The owner of the home in Albert Terrace, Huish Lane, Washford, near Old Cleeve, called 999 to say the shower was on fire at around 9pm yesterday.
Crews put the ground floor fire out within half an hour before making safety checks and ventilating the property.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire started accidentally and was confined to the shower room.
