COULD I praise the Museum of Somerset in your paper?
It is a treasure in our town, always full of interest and providing the population with challenging and thought-provoking events and exhibitions.
One such is the superb gallery of Doris Hatt’s work which introduces us to the art of a much-neglected Somerset painter.
It is beautifully put together and is a great tribute to the feminist and socialist artist who died 50 years ago.
The Tate could not have done better.
