A DISGRACED former radio and television DJ who carried out a string of historic sex offences against underage girls will discover tomorrow (Friday) how long he must spend in jail.
Christopher Reynolds, 57, of Poplar Road, Taunton, has been in custody since March 29 after a jury at Taunton Crown Court found him guilty of six indecent assaults on a girl aged under 16 and a similar charge involving a girl under 12.
He was found not guilty of three further indecent assault allegations and one of rape against the first girl at the end of his two-week trial.
The jury of eight women and four men failed to reach a majority verdict on three charges of indecent assault.
Reynolds, 57, of Poplar Road, Taunton, and his former partner Julia Wildman, 58, of Parker Close, Wellington, were both acquitted of witness intimidation.
Reynolds offences occurred place when he worked as a DJ in Bridgwater and on Taunton Television. He presented on Apple FM radio station, but lost his job when the offences came to light.
