Driver assaulted at York service station
A DRIVER was assaulted in an attack outside a service station near York.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident happened outside the BP garage and McDonalds at the A1237 onto A59 roundabout near York at about 8.20pm on Monday, April 15.
The victim was in a while Vauxhall van, and the alleged attacker was a man who drove a silver VolksWagen Polo. The victim - a York man in his twenties - suffered bruises to his face.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw the incident or either vehicle prior to the assault.
