MINEHEAD is all set for a fantastic Mad Hatters Tea Party set to take place in Blenheim Gardens this Saturday.

From 10.30am through to 6pm there will be fun for all the family including characters from Alice in Wonderland, four hours of entertainment on the stage, crafts, face-painters, a bouncy castle, Easter egg hunts, fairground attractions, as well as, of course, tea party refreshments.

Gateway Events have also organised for some of the local eateries to sell picnic party parcels including Lucy’s Vintage Tea Room, Owl’s Roost, Costa, Apple Tree Tea Rooms and Cream.

Entry to the gardens is completely free, any surplus/proceeds from the day will go towards upcoming events culminating in this year’s Minehead Christmas Festival.

Bill Howard, Gateway Events chairman, said: "Gateway Events brings together a talented and enthusiastic group of Minehead residents, all keen to develop exciting opportunities for the town.

"Our Christmas Festival in 2018 was such a success, that we felt we really needed to think of other events that we can put on to make each year bigger and better then the last.

"This could not happen without the support of local businesses and organisations including Minehead Town Council, West Somerset Radio, West Somerset Railway, Minehead Connect, Eagle Plant Hire and Bounce Monkeys."
