ROYALIST Alan Garbutt was pleased to hear of the planned Royal visit to Somerset later this month.
But he dreads the thought of Her Majesty being given a tour of Canal Road if she comes to Taunton.
Mr Garbutt obviously feels she the Queen would not be impressed by the extent of fly tipping in the area if she does drop by on Sunday, March 28. Her destination in the county has not yet been officially announced.
Mr Garbutt said: "Delighted to see Her Majesty the Queen is visiting Somerset soon.
"As a humble servant, I just hope she doesn’t go down Canal Road, Taunton, and see the piles of fly- tipped rubbish which have been increasing for the past three weeks!"
