WHO can change a light bulb in Killams Wood?
I reported to Somerset County Council on January 2 that the bulb in lamp post No 7 in Killams Wood was not working.
They replied straight away saying it wasn't their responsibility, maybe it was a developer or housing association.
I phoned Taunton Deane Borough Council on January 3 as their parks and gardens section look after the wood. They took the details, but the bulb wasn't changed. I subsequently left details on their website, still no action.
As Summerfield Developments are building new houses nearby and a whole section of lights now aren't working, I emailed them to find out if the lights were their responsibility. I haven't heard anything back from them.
So here we are, six weeks later and still darkness. At least the nights are getting lighter, maybe the bulb will be changed by the summer!
