RESURFACING work on the A358 between Taunton and Ilminster has been completed ahead of schedule.
A team from Skanska was out last night to finish the scheme.
The early finish means closures planned for the rest of the week will no longer take place.
A Somerset County Council spokesman said: "Many thanks for your patience while we carried out these essential improvement works."
