GUESTS were welcomed to the Royal Navy Air Station (RNAS) in Yeovilton to enjoy at three-course meal at the first Somerset Chamber of Commerce Business to Business (B2B) dinner of 2019.

In the Senior Rates and Warrant Officers Mess at the Royal Navy Air Station, more than 40 business were given the opportunity to network over drinks before being seated for a three-course meal with introductions facilitated by designated table heads.

The event was sponsored by Wessex Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (WFRCA) and held in association with Yeovil Chamber of Commerce.

Jon Beake of WRFCA, which sponsored the event, said: “The B2B in Yeovilton went really well and everyone I spoke with enjoyed the food, thought the location was good and, most importantly, learnt something and connected well with the others in the room."

Stephen Henagulph, chief executive of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, said: “Our first B2B dinner of the year heard about the importance of the Armed Forces Covenant from the Wessex Reserve and its work in communicating the significance of supporting current and former serving military personnel.

"Our county has a proud history of strong working relationships with the military and all sectors of the armed forces.

"It is always fascinating when invited to hold a Chamber event on an operational base such as RNAS Yeovilton."
