BRIDGWATER Operatic Society's production of 'Sister Act' is the hottest ticket in town.

Ticket sales for the BOS production have gone through the roof.

A spokesman for BOS said: "Although in the past we have had strong demand for all our shows in the case of 'Sister Act' tickets have been flying off the shelf so seats are now becoming scarce.

"It’s just completely unprecedented at this stage”

'Sister Act' is based on the film starring Whoopi Goldberg and Maggie Smith.

It is the zany, joyful musical comedy in which two very different worlds collide.

When nightclub diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look – a convent.

Renamed ‘Sister Mary Clarence’, Deloris faces the fearsome Mother Superior – and the excruciating nuns’ choir. But she inspires her fellow sisters to find their voices - with a lot of sparkle and pizazz!

With fantastic original songs by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Enchanted) Sister Act is reason to Rejoice.

This show with fizz and sparkle and an amazing feel good factor is brought to you by award winning Bridgwater Operatic Society.

Co directors are Lewis White and Lucy Taylor. The Musical Director is Richard Lenox and Choreographer Katie Williams.

See it at The McMillan Theatre from April 30-May 4.
