A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a serious crash on the A3259.
Emergency services were called at 5.05pm today (January 11) to reports of a crash between a car and a motorcyclist between Nerrols Drive and the A358 Obridge Viaduct.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said the motorcyclist has been taken to Musgrove Park Hospital and is in a 'stable' condition.
Priorswood Road was closed overnight while accident investigations were carried out.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 4.57pm to an incident involving a motorbike and a car.
"The male motorcyclist was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital."
